A very cooling and light accompaniment for any meal. and a good dip for Poppodams too. Boondi raita Ingredients: 1 cup boondi 1 cup yogurt 1/2 tsp pepper powder 1/4 tsp chili powder ½ tsp roasted cumin powder 1 tsp mint sauce A pinch of salt Coriander leaves for garnishing Method: ? Soak boondhi in warm water for 2-3 minutes. Drain in a sieve. ? To a cup of yogurt add pepper, salt, chilli powder, mint sauce and mix. ? Add the boondi and mix it. Garnish with coriander leaves and a sprinkling of spices. ? Always prepare the raita just before serving or else the boondi will get soaked in the yogurt and not taste yummy. ? Serves: 4 Preparation time: 5 minutes |
