Bombay mixture

Ingredients

1. Besan flour-1 cup.
2. Hing- a pinch
3. Salt- as required
4. Water to knead
5. Oil(Sunflower)  for deep frying

Method:

1. Mix all the ingredients and knead to a soft dough consistency.
2. Heat oil in a wok or a pan.
(To test if the oil is hot enough, drop a pinch of the dough into it. If it sinks, the oil is not hot enough. If the dough springs to the top with bubbles all around it, then the oil is ready).
3. Fry till golden brown (till bubbles subside).
4. Take some of the dough and pass it through the Murukku machine
5. Deep fry in oil till golden and drain the excess oil.
6. Cool it and store in an airtight container.
