Ingredients

• 1 lb raw king prawn
• 1 tsp. paprika powder
• ½ tsp. turmeric powder
• 1 small ripe mango (chunks)
• Salt to taste


• 1-2 green chillies (sliced)
• 1 clove garlic (cut finely)
• ½ cup fresh/frozen coconut/milk powder
• ¼ tsp cumin powder

Seasoning
• 1-2 tbsp. oil
• 1 tsp mustard seeds
• a few curry leaves
• 1 shallot cut finely



Method
1. Peel and cut mango. Cook with prawn, turmeric, paprika, salt and little water till prawn turns pink.
2. Grind coconut with garlic and cumin powder to a soft paste and add to the prawn mix. Cook for some more time.
3. In another small dry pan, pour 1-2 tbsp oil. When hot add mustard seeds (wait for it to splutter) before adding curry leaves and chopped shallot.
4. Sauté till golden brown.
5. Pour over the cooked prawn curry as garnish.
6. Serve hot with rice
