A very simple and tasty variation for left over plain rice and turkey Ingredients 1. Cooked rice 250 ml (long grain or basmati rice) 2. Sun flower oil 1-1 ½ tbsp 3. Cumin seeds ½ tspfull 4. Onion (medium) 1 (cut lengthwise) 5. Green chilli 1 -2 (slit) 6. Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp 7. Salt to taste 8. Cooked and shredded turkey 150 gms Method: 1. Heat oil in a dry frying pan. 2. Put in cumin seeds, when they splutter, add sliced onion and slit chilli. 3. Next, add turmeric powder and sauté till onion turns pale brown. 4. Toss in turkey and heat it through. Add salt to taste. 5. Lastly add cooked rice and stir – fry till rice gets thoroughly heated. Serve hot. |
